How to get to your accommodation

Travel with your teacher

Unsure how to get to the Galapagos Islands? Don't worry – chances are you'll be traveling from mainland Ecuador with your very own teacher (if he or she isn't already waiting for you to arrive to the Galapagos Islands at the airport).

To Santa Cruz. For students heading to premium Spanish courses on Santa Cruz Island, you'll travel from Guayaquil or Quito (usually connecting in Guayaquil) to the airport in Baltra. With your teacher you'll then get the airline bus to the Itabaca channel for a ferry to Santa Cruz Island and a taxi or colectivo (transfer) ride to your accommodation.

To San Cristóbal. If we've lined up premium Spanish courses for you on San Cristóbal Island you'll travel from Guayaquil or Quito (usually connecting in Guayaquil) to the airport in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. You and your teacher will then zip across to your accommodation by taxi, just 10 minutes from the airport.
